The FIDO Alliance Identity Authentication System Conference

Panama City, Republic of Panama, September 20th, 2021 – Digital Innovation Alliance (DIA), formerly known as Smart Card Alliance Latin America – SCALA, will participate through Edgar Betts, Executive Director of DIA, who will speak at AuthenticateCon about Digital Identity in Latin America.


AuthenticateCon by FIDO Alliance is one of the largest conferences globally focused on user authentication systems and standards, where security strategists, enterprise architects, and product and business leaders get all the education, tools and best practices to implement modern authentication in web, business, and government applications.

Edgar Betts is a market leader in Digital Innovation and Transformation with experience in industry development of new technologies and introducing them into different countries and vertical markets, including participating the development of a Market Development Cooperation Program (MDCP) fund that was issued by the International Trade Administration – ITA, US Government. He advises international market leaders in the development of flagship projects, using innovation and digital transformation technologies.
